As a stay-at-home mom who spends her days changing diapers, napping whenever possible, and regularly speaking in high-pitched, sing-songy baby talk, I sometimes think I can actually feel individual brain cells shrivel up and die. I’ll take intellectual stimulation wherever I can get it, including from this blog, my virtual time-out chair.

The Cast of Characters

MY HUSBAND: a kind and hardworking gentleman who supports even the most ridiculous of my creative endeavors

SQUIRT: this book-loving, kitty-cat-obsessed, macaroni-and-cheese eating pre-teen has been my partner in crime for the past decade

SQUEAK: a drooling bundle of joy with her mom's eyes, her dad's facial expressions, and Cosmo Kramer's hair

... and me.

I love my family!

  1. This from my 6 yr. old daughter, Moochie: “Your little girl is so adorable. And she has a lot of hair for a baby.” I agree; the whole cast of characters is very attractive, as is your blog. Thanks for letting me find you by virtue of your commenting on my guest post today at Scary Mommy. PS: the woman who commented after you says she uses a paperclip in lieu of the annoying bra clip. (Which does work, btw. It’s just impossible to removes.)

    • aww, well thanks Moochie! She does have a lot of hair and she was born with a bunch of spiky hair sticking straight up all over her head. I’m glad you found my blog and like it, and I hope you keep reading!
