As a stay-at-home mom who spends her days changing diapers, napping whenever possible, and regularly speaking in high-pitched, sing-songy baby talk, I sometimes think I can actually feel individual brain cells shrivel up and die. I’ll take intellectual stimulation wherever I can get it, including from this blog, my virtual time-out chair.

  1. Peacocks are definitely one of the prettiest things to walk the planet. I’m developing an obsession with all things peacockian.

  2. Saw the name of your blog on SCC and I had to check it out. Seriously, BEST. NAME. EVER. My favorite memory from childhood was going for walks with my sister to “Crazy Jay’s” farm. He had all sorts of wildlife (peacocks, too!) just roaming about. I’m sure in reality he was a crazy old man with a hoarding problem, but at the time I thought he was the coolest farmer that ever lived!

    • I’m glad you like the blog name! It used to have a different name, but decided I needed to change it. The first name was chosen quickly and without much thought. The current name, however, was decided upon only after extensive thought!
